If you can answer YES to both questions, you are free to post your answer as a comment on Mrs. Hartjes’ blog!
REMEMBER - include the names of ALL of the authors who worked on your response.
Go here to post your comment —-> Your School
While you are there, take some time to read the comments made by Mrs. Hartjes’ students.

Check out this comic Mrs. Hartjes made about the end of the school year…

You can make a comic, too - it’s easy!
- Make your first comic about a scene from Fastbreak Beach
- Then, you can make your own comic
It can be about…
- the end of the school year
- plans for the summer
- a problem and its solution
- whatever you like!

Here is a fun place to learn about inventions. A friend of mine told me about this site over the weekend and I quickly became hooked on the games. My favourite is the one called Tinker Ball.

Questions to answer:
- Which is your favourite game from the invention at play website?
- Why?
- What is your #1 favourite game of all time?
- Why?
- Answer in complete sentences
- Write in Word with spellcheck first THEN post as a comment

There are many fascinating things to discover about our earth and its water.

FIRST: Explore!
SECOND: Find and Share
Find 3 neat sites to do with water and/or extreme weather. They can be game sites, information sites, sites with amazing images…whatever you like, as long as they help us learn about water and the water cycle.
Post links to these sites as a comment to this post.
THIRD: Write
- Choose an image of extreme weather that you find interesting or cool
- Write a descriptive story to go with the image. Include some water cycle vocabulary and facts in your story.
Post the image and the story to your blog.
Do a google search for grizzly bears and find out…
…their size.
…what they eat.
…where they live.
…if they are dangerous to humans.
…how many are in Canada.
When you are finished, try to find some information about the book we are reading.
The NFB website has a lot of neat activities for creating animations.
Check it out….
Start by clicking on FUN STUFF
